TCE strongly condemns any intentional spreading of disinformation about Chernobyl to either confuse the public or create false narratives or rumors about the Chernobyl disaster. If you have any ill intent, please stay away from using our images & videos. This also includes toxic behaviour.
The pictures and videos that are shared on this site are of the public domain. This does not necessarily mean that videos posted on our other social media or by other people are of the public domain. People posting our content may have gotten special permissions from us to use said content.
You do not have to state that TCE made the recreations seen in the images and videos you are using but we strongly discourage any claims that you have made the recreations yourself. Meaning, you don't have to give credit to us but you must NOT credit yourself.
TCE strongly condemns any illegal activity and has zero intent on helping or supporting illegal activity against the present day Chernobyl NPP such as stalking or sabotage attempts.
Real time pictures uses the same type of "real time capture" as in game. This means that what you see in these pictures reflect what you see in the game and should be the pictures to use if you want to review our game or share info about TCE online.
Path Tracing Pictures are pictures taken with the "path tracer" feature within Unreal Engine 5. This one is similar to the cycles render mode in blender and is used for the more professional prints. We use over a thousand samples per pixel in every picture. Path Tracing prints currently have a limit on 1080p so we use an AI image upscaler to scale it up to 4k or 8k. Path Tracing prints are intended for more professional use and should be used to the history of Chernobyl instead of reviewing our game.
